    Learn how to protect yourself from Financial Fraud

    Presentation by Richard Tresler of PremierOne Credit Union

    • Our main presentation will be on how to protect yourself from various kinds of financial fraud in this growing threat environment.  
    • We will have an update from our District 10 Council office.  
    • We will also have an update from SJPD.  We have a new captain heading our division.  Captain Payne will hopefully be able to attend the meeting.  LPNA will continue working with Captain Payne and SJPD to improve safety in our community.

  • Scam prevention

    Expect to receive a flyer in the US mail today, April 25, 2020, from the US Postal Inspection Service. It is a PSA regarding scams related to the pandemic, but also references other scams related to stimulus checks, tax filings, etc. It is of special interest to the USPIS if any scams use the postal service to perpetrate these scams. The link on the flyer, https://www.uspis.gov/coronavirus/, provides PSA videos, and links to resources on how to identify, avoid, and report these scams.
