    Just received this notification from the FBI IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center). Given April 15th tax filing date is tomorrow, the FBI is warning the public regarding criminal actors stealing US Taxpayer Identities to file false tax returns and claim refunds.

    For those unable to attend the last meeting due to other commitments, we are posting the video here for your viewing. This was a hybrid meeting (both in-person and remote). The audio issues were mostly resolved this time around and audible for both in person attendees as well the remote Zoom attendees.

    • Our main presentation will be on how to protect yourself from various kinds of financial fraud in this growing threat environment.  
    • We will have an update from our District 10 Council office.  
    • We will also have an update from SJPD.  We have a new captain heading our division.  Captain Payne will hopefully be able to attend the meeting.  LPNA will continue working with Captain Payne and SJPD to improve safety in our community.
